Submission Underground closes out an action-packed year with Submission Underground 29, live from the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon.
The card is headlined by surging UFC middleweight Sean Strickland and one of Submission Underground’s must recognizable faces in Andy Varela. Strickland’s skillset in MMA is mostly based around his boxing, and is competing in a major grappling-only competition for the first time tonight as he takes on Varela, who is a former Submission Underground title challenger and multiple- event headliner fo the organization.
The co-main event puts the Tag Team Championship on the line, as Deon Clash and Anthony Birchak of Team Toro defend their belt against Charlie Gilpin and Gustavo Nessa of Team BTT Happy Valley.
