Liverpool’s Shem Rock finally made his UFC debut at UFC Qatar; however, unfortunately for him and the Next Generation team, he came away with a loss.
Shem Rock was matched with the undefeated Nurullo Aliev, who is 2-0 in the UFC, with wins over Rafael Alves and Joe Solecki. The tough Tajikistan native outworked Rock with constant threats of the takedown, teamed with some heavy shots on the feet.
Rock had a great opportunity in the final round when he was able to mount Aliev, however, the Tajik Eagle effectively grappled his way out of the situation.
