On August 4 Contenders Series is back for season 4. On Monday afternoon the five-fight lineup was announced for season 4 Contenders Series week 1.
At UFC Fight Island 2 (UFC Fight Night 172), the promotion announced the main event would be a lightweight bout between undefeated prospect Cameron Church and Jose Flores who has competed in a previous Contenders Series event.
Church (4-0) fights out of Escobar Training Grounds in California. He is undefeated as a professional, with all four of his bouts being stoppages.
