Yaroslav Amosov is expected to put his Bellator welterweight title on the line in enemy territory early next year.
In a recent interview with MMAjunkie.com , Bellator president Scott Coker revealed that the promotion is targeting a championship clash between Amosov and Michael Page for London. The exact number of the event and its date are currently unknown for the proposed bout.
“We are in the process of putting that fight together now with him and MVP to fight in London at some point early next year,” Coker said.
Amosov improved to 26-0 at Bellator 260, when he claimed the 170-pound title with a five-round verdict against Douglas Lima on June 11.
