Back on March 18th, 2017, a promotion called Battlefield FC put on an MMA event in Seoul, South Korea. The co-main event saw former Strikeforce bantamweight champion Sarah Kaufman taking on current UFC fighter Jessica-Rose Clark. Kaufman won a hard-fought decision. In the main event, Igor Svirid defeated Joe Ray via submission.
That would be all well and good, but it turns out that none of the fighters on the card actually got paid after the event. In fact, they had to wait just over a full year. But today, Kaufman and Clark received their paychecks.
