Ryan Scope out of Paul Redmond fight at Bellator Dublin

MMA Fighting confirmed with officials that the 28-year-old Englishman has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming lightweight fight in Dublin with Paul Redmond due to an injury that Scope first announced via an Instagram story Tuesday.

Officials are seeking a replacement fighter to keep Redmond on the card.

Scope did not reveal the nature of the injury, only adding that he hoped to be back in action by May. This was his first booking of 2020 after going 0-2 last year with losses to Peter Queally and Patricky Pitbull.

Redmond, 33, has won four of his last five fights competing for Bellator and KSW.
