A return to active competition in combat sports of any kind won’t be in the cards for Ryan Hall this year.
The Brazilian jiu-jitsu standout revealed that he recently underwent surgery for a torn ACL, knocking him out of an Aug. 13 bout and keeping him out of action for the rest of 2022 entirely.
