Royce Gracie talks about how hard it is to quit MMA and how there’s a list of fighters willing to fight him.
49-year old Royce Gracie is not ready to say goodbye to MMA for good just yet. Following his first round TKO win over Ken Shamrock back at Bellator 149 last February, the veteran of the sport told Combate it’s hard to leave the sport forever. As he put it himself, he doesn’t even see himself as a retired fighter.
“Man, I’m trying to leave this game,” Gracie said. "I’m not retired. I’m on a break, but it’s hard to quit, because I like to fight.
