Yesterday, Australian doctor Phil West claimed that allowing children to attend UFC 193 is a form of "child abuse."
"It's brutal and savage," Dr. West said on Tuesday. "It's potentially facilitating a form of child abuse within the state's own legislation, which is emotional harm."
Up until March 2015, mixed martial arts promotions that used a steel cage to host fights were outlawed in the state of Victoria, essentially blacklisting the UFC from hosting events in cities like Melbourne.
