Rose Namajunas and Paige VanZant will compete for a spot in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight title hunt in the upcoming UFC Fight Night 80 mixed martial arts (MMA) main event, which takes tomorrow night (Thurs., Dec. 10, 2015) on UFC Fight Pass from inside Chelsea at Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada.
VanZant (6-1) has looked unstoppable since making her Octagon debut in late 2014, racking up three straight wins with two finishes. Namajunas (3-2), meanwhile, shook off last December's submission loss to Carla Esparza by choking out Angela Hill at UFC 192.
Earlier today, "Thug" and "12 Gauge" came nose-to-nose at the conclusion of the UFC Fight Night 80 weigh in event (full video replay here).
