Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey has booked a new acting gig with a recurring role on the procedural drama “9-1-1” on FOX.
According to an initial report from Deadline, Rousey will play a firefighter named Lena Bosko — “a stoic and fearless member of the Los Angeles Fire Department Station 136 who leaps into action to save lives when a disaster hits”.
Season 3 of “9-1-1” centers around a tsunami landing in Santa Monica.
The series was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, who are also behind the hugely popular FX series “American Horror Story”.
