Rogan won’t call UFC on ESPN cards: I’d rather do podcast for zero money

Since the UFC expanded its yearly schedule, veteran analyst Joe Rogan became less visible during fights as well. The long-time color commentator has since limited his duties to pay-per-view events in the United States.

Alternatively, Rogan along with regular guests Brendan Schaub, Eddie Bravo, and comedian Bryan Callen, would do the “Fight Companion” podcast during these non-pay-per-view shows, where they’d simply watch fights and react to it, while discussing other topics as well.

During Sunday’s episode of the said podcast amidst the UFC Phoenix broadcast, Rogan stated he would not change this current set-up in this new UFC/ESPN era.
