Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a matchup between Vieira and Dustin Stoltzfus will take place at the UFC’s event on July 17 at a location and venue yet to be announced.
After a pair of submission wins to kick off his UFC career, Vieira entered his most recent bout as high as a -500 favorite as he took on Anthony Hernandez at UFC 258. After nearly getting a submission win early, Vieira was unable to close the show, which led to Hernandez mounting a memorable comeback and submitting the Brazilian in the second round.
