RIZIN Fighting Federation recently announced the tournament brackets for the second half of its upcoming open weight grand prix, which takes place inside Saitama Super Arena on Dec. 29 (quarterfinals) and Dec. 31 (semifinals, finals) in Saitama, Japan.
After earning a first-round bye, former PRIDE smashing machine Wanderlei Silva will renew his rivalry with aging striker Mirko Filipovic. In addition, Shane Carwin will come out of retirement to sling heavyweight leather against Amir Aliakbari.
