It was a beautiful performance by Rico Verhoeven on Saturday evening at Glory: Collision 3. However, his opponent Jamal Ben Saddik did some serious damage to his face in the process. All of this came at a price — he was no longer recognized by his phone’s facial recognition.
Verhoeven even joked about the cell phone incident himself via his official Instagram page.
This victory for Verhoeven ends a trilogy with Saddik. He truly is like his nickname states, the ‘King of Kickboxing.
