The UFC’s has added an exciting matchup to their first September event.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a fight between Ricky Simon and Brian Kelleher is in the works for the UFC’s event on Sept. 5, which is expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
After a 3-0 start to his UFC run, Simon dropped back-to-back fights to Urijah Faber and Rob Font to cap off his 2019. The 27-year-old got his 2020 started off in a great way when he picked up a unanimous decision victory over Ray Borg at UFC Jacksonville in May.
