In 2019, Urijah Faber came out of a two and a half year retirement to fight Ricky Simon in his hometown of Sacramento, California. Apparently, backstage prior to that contest, Simon managed to pull a bit of a prank on his opponent, who badly needed a restroom at the time.
Simon’s teammate Tyson Nam shared the funny story in an interview with Shakiel Mahjouri.
“Ricky Simon was fighting. We were inside of those training rooms. It was pre-COVID so everyone had to share a training room. Urijah Faber comes in — this was before their fight,” Nam shared.
