Jose Aldo was all smiles after vanquishing Renato Carneiro – and Father Time -- Saturday night in front of thousands of his rabid fans.
Aldo looked like vintage “Scarface” in the co-featured bout of UFC Fight Night 144 in Fortaleza, Brazil, where he torched “Moicano” with a barrage of powerful punches to the head and body. The former WEC and multiple-time UFC featherweight champion looked like his old self in stopping his counterpart 44 seconds into round two. Aldo said he knew the fight was over once he connected with the first punch of that fateful salvo.
