A UFC smash-em-up derby practically promising a knockout will grace the cage in January.
Per the promotion on Thursday, its main card has been announced plus at least one additional pairing that could transform it into a six-fight main card. At heavyweight, a pair of top-10 athletes will come to blows as Waldo Cortes-Acosta (16-2) throws down with Derrick Lewis (29-12, 1 NC). The two will compete on Jan. 24 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as part of a non-pay-per-view numbered event.

Cortes-Acosta requested one final bout at the end of this year to make it six appearances in 2025, but the promotion did not have a place for him and booked him on the first of the year instead.
