GGG made a successful debut on DAZN tonight, putting opponent Steve Rolls down and out in the 4th round for a big KO victory.
For Golovkin, this was a big fight for a number of reasons. It was the debut for DAZN. It was his first fight without Abel Sanchez in his corner, instead working with Johnathon Banks. It was presumably there to set up a trilogy fight with Canelo. It was his first fight since taking a loss on his ledger. In short, the 37 year old needed this win, and he needed it to be a big win.
