Veterans of the sport, Vitor Belfort and Nate Marquardt will square off in Rio de Janeiro, as Combate reported the pair of middleweights agreed to meet at UFC 212.
In need of a win, Vitor Belfort (25-14) wants to end his current three-fight losing stint, when he suffered KO losses to Ronaldo Souza, Gegard Mousasi and most recently, Kelvin Gastelum. The 40-year old's last win came in November 2015, when he knocked out Dan Henderson.
Also looking for a win to rebound from an unanimous decision loss to Sam Alvey, Nate Marquardt (35-17-2) managed to score a highlight-reel KO of Tamdan McCrory in the fight prior to the Alvey match.
