There’s no question now as to who the UFC’s PPV king is. It’s Conor McGregor. Add in a healthy dose of Nate Diaz and the UFC appears to have found PPV magic. Dave Meltzer & MMA Fighting report that UFC 202 sold somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.65 million PPV buys.
Assuming those numbers aren’t way off, UFC 202 becomes third PPV of 2016 to break the 1 million buys mark. Which (depending on what numbers you go by) puts roughly 25-30% of the biggest PPVs in UFC history in this year alone. And it also edges out the biggest UFC PPV ever.
