According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto the UFC is finalizing a fight between former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and 10th ranked Vincente Luque. Per Okamoto the fight is being targeted for UFC 260 on March 27.
Woodley last competed in September, at UFC Vegas 11, inside the UFC’s APEX facility. There he lost, via TKO (rib injury), to bitter rival Colby Covington. That was Woodley’s third loss in a row.
Last May he lost to Gilbert Burns, by decision, in a fight that elevated Burns to number one contender status at 170 lbs.
