Report: Max Holloway vs. Frankie Edgar agreed upon for UFC 240 in July

After two unsuccessful bookings, Max Holloway vs. Frankie Edgar could finally be happening as the two are slated to fight at UFC 240 in July.

ESPN first reported the news, though the UFC is yet to make an official announcement. This is the third time this matchup has been booked, after Edgar was forced to pull out at UFC 218 in December 2017, and Holloway pulled out of the fight at UFC 222 in March of last year with a leg injury.

Holloway (20-4) is coming off his first loss in thirteen fights after dropping a unanimous decision to Dustin Poirier last month at UFC 236.
