According to a report from ESPN.com, the surging UFC heavyweight’s octagon return has been moved up one week after the withdrawal of his previously scheduled opponent, Jarjis Danho, due to injury.
Hardy was scheduled to face Danho at UFC Singapore on October 26. Now, he’s scheduled to face Dana White Contender Series vet Ben Sosoli at UFC Boston, which airs on ESPN and takes place on Oct. 18 at TD Garden in Boston.
Sosoli makes his official octagon debut after an accidental eyepoke ended his fight Dustin Joynson on the 10th episode of the Contender Series’ third season.
