After recently teasing for a fight with former two-weight champion Conor McGregor, Donald Cerrone will have to wait for a fight with the Irishman, as ‘Cowboy’ is slated to fight rising contender Alexander Hernandez at UFC Brooklyn.
MMAjunkie first reported the news. The UFC is yet to make an official announcement. Cerrone and Hernandez will fight in the featured bout of the ESPN prelims that will be broadcasted nationally.
Cerrone (34-11) is coming off of a Performance of the Night win against Mike Perry, submitting him in the first round at UFC Denver last month.
