It appears AKA still hasn’t progressed from the “stone age” training mentality UFC president Dana White bashed them for years ago. On Friday, it was reported UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (pictured) has been forced to pull out of his UFC 206 title fight against Anthony Johnson due to an undisclosed injury.
MMAFighting.com broke the news, though the UFC has yet to address Cormier’s condition.
According to the report, the UFC is hoping to keep Johnson in the lineup. Although, it might be tough selling Johnson on taking a fight that would be worth his while considering he’s already posted T(KO) wins over the division’s top four fighters.
