Both coming off of recent wins, Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige are set to meet on July 15th to headline a UFC Fight Night on “Fight Island.”
ESPN reported the matchup, though the UFC has not yet confirmed the fight. Kattar has also signed a new multi-fight deal with the UFC. The event on July 15th will be the second of four upcoming events to take place on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Kattar (21-4) has become a top contender at 145-pounds after winning five of his last seven UFC fights. “The Boston Finisher” stopped UFC veteran Jeremy Stephens at UFC 249 in May.
