A bit over a week before the Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Adelaide, Australia, UFC Fight Night 142 has experienced an opponent change for Kai Kara-France, who will instead be facing Elias Garcia.
Recently, MMAjunkie reported that Ashkan Mokhtarian (11-1) has been forced to withdraw from his bout against Cezar Ferreira (13-6) due to injury. On just over a week’s notice, according to FloCombat, Garcia (11-1) will be stepping in to replace Mokhtarian.
Mokhtarian was set to appear on the card along with his brother Suman Mokhtarian, where they would have become only the seventh brother tandem to fight on the same card together.
