In his Legacy Fighting Alliance debut in June, Brazil's Renan Ferreira was disqualified due to illegal strikes. On Friday night in the main event of LFA 74, he made sure the same fate would befall him again.
Ferreira (6-2) used his long reach against fellow heavyweight Jared Vanderaa to batter his legs in the first and then nearly knocked him out with punches in the second. "Problema" busted up Vanderaa's face with an onslaught of punches, but he nearly gassed himself out. With blood pouring from his face, "The Mountain" scored a takedown out of desperation, but that move sealed his fate.
