UFC 264 is set to reach a conclusion on the Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier trilogy.
Their first bout happened all the way back in 2014, with McGregor only needing a minute and 46 seconds to TKO Poirier in the very first round.
So much has happened in the seven years since the two young contenders first faced off. Poirier moved up to 155 lbs immediately after the 2014 loss to McGregor, and it’s where he found far more success, including an interim title win over Max Holloway in 2019. He has only lost once in his last nine bouts: to Khabib Nurmagomedov, who has since retired undefeated.
