Away from fighting since an unanimous decision loss to Ovince Saint Preux in February 2016, Rafael Cavalcante had not won a fight since his submission via strikes victory over Igor Pokrajac in November 2013. However, the 37-year-old turned it all around when he met Dan Konecke at World Fight Tour - Road to Bellator, a feeder league for Bellator.
The win came in the first round with some ground and pound following a knockdown by Cavalcante. The win earned Feijao a Bellator contract, who'll join fellow UFC veterans such as champion Ryan Bader and Phil Davis on the light heavyweight Bellator roster.
