A quiet room and a quiet card may add up to opportunities for a few fighters to make some noise on Saturday—or so we hope.
After an ambitious world tour that saw the Ultimate Fighting Championship plant its flag on four different continents in five weeks, filling arenas from Abu Dhabi to Rio de Janeiro, the promotion is set to spend two weeks in the friendly confines of its Apex facility in Las Vegas before hitting the road one last time to finish out the year.
Considering the recent run of road shows and the upcoming November card at Madison Square Garden that has become one of the UFC’s two biggest events of the year, the pair of Apex cards can’t help but feel like a bit of an afterthought, and of the two, this week’s UFC Vegas 110 is the poorer cousin.
