The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has released the mug shot of longtime MMA star and former UFC title challenger Nick Diaz, who was arrested on Thursday for allegedly assaulting a woman at an unidentified Las Vegas residence.

The 34-year-old Diaz is charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $18,000, and Diaz has since been released from custody. Sources told MMAjunkie that the alleged victim was transported to a local hospital and that Diaz was combative with officers during the arrest.
