Thiago Alves might need surgery to repair his broken nose. This shouldn't come as a big surprise to everyone who watched last Saturday's UFC Goiania main event between him and Carlos Condit, where Condit fired away with brutal elbows, that literally dented the Brazilian's nose bone into his forehead.
MMA Fighting now reports, that Dr. Marcio Tannure, medical director of the Brazilian sports commission CABMMA, has stated, that Alves might very well have to undergo surgery on his nose to fix it, although X-rays or a detailed status on Alves' condition haven't been available, yet.
