Tonight (Thursday, October 31st) from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas sees the heavyweights and lightweights take center stage, as we’ve reached the playoff portion of season 2 of the Professional Fighters League.
Barring injury replacement, fighters have to win twice in one night in order to make the $1 million tournament final on New Year’s Eve. The top seed at light heavyweight is Emiliano Sordi, who will take on Sigi Pasaeli in the quarterfinals. At heavyweight, Denis Golstov is the #1 seed and he’ll face Satoshi Ishii in his quarterfinal.
As a reminder, the quarterfinal tiebreakers are no longer based on who won round one.
