Tonight (Thursday, October 17th) from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas features the featherweight and men’s lightweight tournaments, as we’ve reached the playoff portion of Season 2 of the Professional Fighters League.
To get to the $1 million final on New Year’s Eve, you need to win twice in one night. The quarterfinals are two, five-minute rounds while the semifinals are your standard three-round battles.
In the featherweight division, Lance Palmer is the top seed and in search of another $1 million. He’ll begin his quest to defend his title against Alexandre Almeida. As for the lightweight division, Natan Schulte won last year’s tournament, and the Brazilian is the #1 seed again this year.
