Colby Covington might just be public enemy number one, and UFC welterweight rival Mike Perry has warned the former interim champ to watch his back this weekend at UFC 245.
Back in 2017 former UFC heavyweight titleholder Fabricio Werdum hit Covington with a boomerang and, speaking to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani in a recent interview, ‘Platinum’ promised to sucker punch ‘Chaos’ after the Kamaru Usman fight.
“I think he is going to lose his fight on Saturday anyway, and he’s got protection,” Perry said ahead of his fight against Geoff Neal this Saturday, per BJPenn.
