ONE announces plans to hold 50 events in 2020, possible U.S., India debuts

Chatri Sityodtong isn’t planning to slow down in 2020.

The ONE Championship CEO announced over the weekend that the Singapore-based promotion is looking to hold 50 events this year, surpassing 2019’s mark of 42 events, which had been a record for ONE. Those numbers include major ONE Championship events, as well as ONE Super Series, ONE Hero Series, ONE Warrior Series, and ONE Esports.

Per a press release that was sent out Monday, ONE events are expected to be held in “key markets” such as Bangkok, Manila, Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and China, among other locations.
