Ode Osbourne vs. Jerome Rivera targeted for UFC event on Jan. 30

A battle of Contender Series alums has been added to the UFC’s early 2021 schedule.

Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a flyweight matchup between Ode Osbourne and Jerome Rivera has been added to the UFC’s Jan. 30 event. As of now, a location has yet to be announced for the fight card.

Osbourne, who is making his 125-pound debut, was a standout during the 2019 season of DWCS when he picked up a first-round submission of Armando Villarreal to earn a contract. “The Jamaican Sensation” made his octagon debut at January’s UFC 246 event and was submitted by Brian Kelleher.
