UFC Fight Night 75 (UFC Fight Night: Barnett vs. Nelson) will take place this Saturday in Japan, but it will do so with one less bout. The UFC reported on its website on Tuesday evening both Norifumi 'Kid' Yamamoto and his opponent Matt Hobar were injured and their bout had been removed from the card.
"Due to training injuries suffered by both Kid Yamamoto and Matt Hobar, their UFC Fight Night bout in Saitama this weekend has been scrapped," the report says.
"The card, headlined by the heavyweight matchup between Josh Barnett and Roy Nelson, will now proceed with 10 bouts, with the featherweight fight pitting Diego Brandao against Katsunori Kikuno now moving on to the FOX Sports 1 main card.
