ESPN was first to report the welterweight matchup. Bellator 236 takes place on Dec. 21 at Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu and is headlined by a flyweight championship tilt between Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and Kate Jackson.
After beginning his pro tenure with nine consecutive victories, Gracie suffered a five-round decision defeat to Rory MacDonald in the semifinals of the welterweight grand prix at Bellator 222.
