The triumphant Neil Magny received an early birthday present on Saturday night.
Magny (30-13) took on fellow veteran Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos at UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday. While Magny acquitted himself well on the feet early, the Brazilian took him down and maintained top control for part of the second round. However, “The Haitian Sensation” rallied back with knees to hurt Zaleski dos Santos, following up with ground-and-pound to procure the stoppage late into Round 2.
It seemed like it couldn’t get any better for Magny than to return to the win column with a finish on the night before turning 38.
