“The Prospect” has been booked to compete in his home country of England, where he’ll meet Jose Quinonez in a bantamweight bout at UFC London on March 16 at The O2 Arena. Officials announced the bout at a press conference Wednesday.
Wood, a former Cage Warriors champion, is 2-0 in the UFC so far with submission wins over Andre Ewell and Johnny Eduardo. The 25-year-old Englishman has won his last seven fights and is 15-3 as a pro.
A semifinalist on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, Quinonez (7-2) is riding a four-fight winning streak.
