Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will square off for the first time on Thursday, as both men are set to attend a UFC 244 pre-fight press conference in New York to promote their highly anticipated welterweight bout at Madison Square Garden.
The press conference will take place at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York, per the UFC’s official Twitter account.
Masvidal vs. Diaz was announced just a couple of weeks after Diaz’ unanimous decision win over Anthony Pettis at UFC 241, where Diaz called ‘Gamebred’ out in his post-fight interview at Anaheim’s Honda Center. Diaz has fought just twice in the past three years but is considered one of the biggest stars in the UFC.
