The unthinkable has happened.

Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer of all time, has passed away at the age of 74. The man who transcended the sport he dominated for countless years died Friday (June 3, 2016) evening in a Phoenix-area hospital, according to a report by NBC News.

Ali had been battling Parkinson's disease for nearly 32 years before passing away following respiratory issues dating back to earlier in the week. Funeral arrangements are in the process of being finalized for his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
