Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson may be laying the groundwork for a fight with one another sooner rather than later.
Earlier this week, McGregor went on a Twitter rant, reacting to the new lightweight landscape following UFC 249, and Justin Gaethje’s interim title winning performance over Tony Ferguson. Among McGregor’s comments was a criticism of both Ferguson’s performance and his overall skill in general.
Ferguson is one of the most successful fighters in UFC lightweight history, sporting a 15-2 record in the UFC and having claimed interim title gold in 2017.
