Morning Report: Jon Jones doubles down on fighting Francis Ngannou: ‘Everyone will call you crazy until you pull it off’

At UFC 249, Francis Ngannou knocked out Jairzinho Rozenstruik in seconds to cement himself as the No. 1 contender in the heavyweight division. The problem is, the heavyweight division is currently waiting on a trilogy fight between champion Stipe Miocic and former champion Daniel Cormier to take place, leaving Ngannou in the lurch. However, in the aftermath of Ngannou’s win, light heavyweight champion Jon Jones threw out himself as a potential opponent for Ngannou and “The Predator” was quick to say he’d be happy to oblige.

Well yesterday, Jones doubled down on his call out, calling for the UFC to make the fight happen.
