Morning Report: Georges St-Pierre not interested in Anderson Silva fight: ‘There’s a lot more to lose than gain’

MMA history is littered with fights that weren’t. Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor. Fedor vs. Randy Couture. Kid Yamamoto vs. Urijah Faber. Silva vs. Jon Jones. But it appears the most sought after fight in MMA history is well and truly dead.

Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre are two of the longest reigning champions in UFC history (one and three respectively, with Demetrious Johnson sandwiched in between them) and their title runs ran concurrently, with both men winning their belts in 2006 (GSP lost his to Matt Serra but regained the title the next year).
