Morning Report: Dustin Poirier goes off on ‘fake-ass gangster’ Nate Diaz, Diaz responds

So in case you missed it, last night, all hell broke loose.

Next weekend, the most anticipated bout of the year takes place at UFC 244 when Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal lock horns for the inaugural ‘Baddest motherf*cker in the game’ belt. Or at least, they were supposed to. Last night, Diaz posted a message on Twitter saying he would not attend UFC 244 because he was flagged for something on a drug test. The announcement turned the MMA world upside down, not only because Diaz was pulling out of the biggest fight of the year on less than two weeks’ notice but also because Nate Diaz and his older brother Nick have been two of the most vocal opponents of PED usage.
